Getting Ready
You will need a picture of yourself saved on your student (your name) drive in order to complete this activity.
View the grading rubric for this project to review the requirements for this assignment. The grading rubric will be passed out in class, if you need another copy you may print one.
You will need access to the Internet and Microsoft Word to complete this project.

Creating Your avatar (Online)
1. Visit the Portrait Illustration Maker Website
2. Select the 2nd blue button named “Back” – Select an appropriate background for your Avatar. You will see your preview area update.
3. Work through the rest of the characteristic categories (blue buttons) to build your avatar to represent YOU.
4. Make sure all of your choices are school appropriate.
5. When you are finished & happy with your computer avatar – click on “Alignment”

10. Go to your computer desktop - click on "My Computer" and open your student drive so that your teacher can view your "Avatar" file that is saved on your student drive.
